I Didn't Want To...

...but I DID!

Monday morning came early - and cold - and I really didn't want to go for my walk.  I walk my daughter to her bus stop in the morning, so that sort-of makes me get going - and then my MP3 player went dead too (even though I'd had it plugged in over the weekend, recharging) -- no Debbie Rocker encouragement either....  BUT I DID IT! :) (pedometer says 9,866 steps before noon!)

And I feel so much better now.

It works that way, doesn't it? 

Did you know that according to scientists, today is the most depressing day of the year?  I didn't know that - and not sure I believe it - but hey, walking sure gets me feeling better!  Even in the cold! 

Just think - 5 months today and it's SUMMER! :) Now THAT'S encouraging!

A few days ago were the most depressing for me... no sunshine for days straight! Blah! Yay for you. Pictures loading again? Did I miss you saying that somewhere? :)

It's so true!
I was at a meeting today that studies the link between walking and mental health and it's quite remarkable how it really does improve depression etc.
