Last week I had my Resting Metabolic Rate tested (Calorimeter testing) again at the Weight Management Clinic. It was UP, which is a good thing! ;) Below is a chart of my RMR tests over the past years. My lowest was 1282 and my highest was 1958. Quite a difference! (It's interesting that my lowest RMR is when I gave up my regular exercise because I "wasn't seeing any results". ha! That'll teach me!)
This morning's walk was a bit shorter since we were getting freezing rain. It's quite a mess out there. I wore my boot treads which worked very well (thank you for the reminder Spunkisuzi! I bought a pair a few years ago and never used them...until you mentioned them here a while back! Duh.) My boots, however, leak so I had cold, wet feet when I got home. Yuk. I need to spray waterproofing on them again...
I had my official TOPS WI on Friday - and was down 2 lbs. I'm happy about that and hope that I can have another loss this coming Friday. Our daughter's wedding is coming quickly - 40 days from today! - and I really want to be firmly into ONEderland by then. So I need to keep working and not let up.
No news on the fostering front still - but I still have some jobs to get done around the house here so I'm glad for the extra time. On the weekend I worked on sorting the baby clothes into sizes so they will be easily accessible.
